than, then
Than is used to compare people or things. Then is an adjective or adverb meaning “at that time”.
| Incorrect: | She is older then I am. |
| Correct: | She is older than I am. |
| Incorrect: | The celebration was launched by the than Prime Minister. |
| Correct: | The celebration was launched by the then Prime Minister. |
