anymore, any more

Anymore or any more (American spelling) is an adverb used to express a situation that has ended.

Correct:We are not seeing each other anymore.
Correct:We are not seeing each other any more.

Any more also means “any additional”. When used before a noun, anymore is a spelling error.

Incorrect:Maple Ridge doesn’t need anymore stray cats.
Correct:Maple Ridge doesn’t need any more stray cats.
