Which should you use, stormed passed or stormed past? The verb storm means to move angrily or forcefully in a specified direction; stormed is the past and the past participle of storm. Past may function as an adverb or a preposition to refer to a position that is further than a particular point. Passed is the past form of the verb pass. Stormed passed does not make sense.

Incorrect: He stormed passed her and went out the door.
Correct: He stormed past her and went out the door.
