Which should you use, simple or simply? The adjective simple may mean easy to understand or do, plain, straightforward, or ordinary. The adverb simply may mean completely, only, in an easy way, or in a plain way.

Incorrect: She has a simply solution for just about every problem I have.
Correct: She has a simple solution for just about every problem I have.
Incorrect: The manager explained it as simple as he could.
Correct: The manager explained it as simply as he could.
