Which should you use, set well/right or sit well/right? If something does sit well/right with you, you agree with it or like it. Sat is the past and the past participle form of the verb sit. Set well/right is incorrect.

Incorrect: It was not something that set well with me.
Correct: It was not something that sat well with me.
