Which should you use, any or either? The indefinite pronoun any means some, or even the smallest amount or number of. The indefinite pronoun either is used to refer to a choice between two possibilities. Use any if there are more than two possibilities.

Incorrect: I never saw either of the three men again.
Correct: I never saw any of the three men again.
